Death Is Just A Rumor Spread By Life is a multimedia installation by Ben Sloat that explores ideas of transition, experience, and time. The central piece of the exhibition, Fate Machine contains aspects of time that are continuous or in suspension. With its assemblage of components (glass door, magpie, furniture, radio, steps), alluding to indoor, outdoor, and neutral spaces, it invites varied interactions from the viewer.
